am so impressed with this book! I have often wondered how to teach my 4
kids to swim, but I am such a poor swimmer myself that I had no idea where to
begin. Swimming lessons are great, but unless a parent can reinforce what
is taught I don't believe swimming instruction is as successful as it should be.
I love the way the book is written in a simple, straight-forward manner that
makes swimming instruction seem so logical and natural. Great suggestions
for games to help make it fun for the kids. They won't even know they are
learning to swim! I would recommend "Teach Your Child to Swim"
to every parent with children that ever hopes to enjoy a day at the pool.

loved this book. We wanted to teach our children some basic skills to
build on and found this book to be full of great ideas. It is an excellent
preparatory tool for children as well as adults who are getting ready for
swimming lessons. It also addresses many of the concerns we had about
taking our 'lively' two year old to the pool. We just wish our parents had
known these techniques when we were kids first learning to swim. We look
